Reminders:

  • Charlie reminded all to respond to the evite for Nov 16  for Urban Peak.  Please respond even if you are NOT attending.  
  • Sign up for the Dist. conference by Nov. 30 for the discounted rate.  You can cancel if you do not attend. 
  • There will be a Board meeting on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 AM.  You can attend by phone if unable to attend personally.

Updates:

  • Dave reported that Charlie had given him a tour of the Mall.  
  • Kathleen reported she had planned to attend Charter Night but ended up helping a friend move - and had to drive the moving van!!
  • Terri was having a drop in party for neighbors as there are no trick or treaters coming to the house.  
  • Charlie was invited to help the Police officers of Dist 6 in handing out treats.  
  • Katie was unable to attend Charter Night as her Mother gave her a trip to Sacramento, CA.  
  • Mo reported that John's family home of 4 generations was damaged by "Sandy".  
  • Charlene's daughter has survived the storm also.

Our speaker, Ted Ning reported about the "Starfish" project which helps girls in Guatemala become educated and become independent.  He has invited members to come to Guatemala to view how the project is working.  www.starfishonebyone.org
