Littleton Rotary was on display at this year’s Western Welcome Week Parade thanks to club member Steve Tautz and his impeccably restored 1931 Ford Model AA truck. The truck bed was filled with waiving Rotarians, including our exchange student, Regitze Gade, as Steve navigated the parade route. Club members Mickey Kempf and Drew Lang’s businesses were significant parade sponsors and their sponsorship banners prominent displayed at the front of the 1 ½ hour parade – one of the largest ever for Western Welcome Week.
Littleton Rotary’s Evening Meeting members spearheaded our Rotary Information Booth along Main Street during and after the Parade. They handed out hundreds of postcard announcements about our Alferd Packer Bacon party, fliers about our Free The Girls bra collection drive, and general information o=about Littleton Rotary. Thank you, Steve, and thanks to all who helped make Littleton Rotary’s presence possible.
