Rotary Youth Exchange Host Family Recognized

Director Drew Lang and his wife, Vicki were recently recognized by President Jim for their service in being one of the host families for our Danish 2015-16 Rotary Youth Exchange student, Regitze Gade.

Regitze joined the Lang family on her arrival from Denmark last August and immediately was enrolled at Heritage High School. Within a day or two, she was on the Cross Country Track Team and within 2 weeks ran her first 5K and finished in just 23 minutes.

As a Thank-You to Drew and Vicki for their generosity in hosting, President Jim presented them with a $100 gift certificate for use at an area restaurant. Drew says that hosting an exchange student is a very special and rewarding experience and he hopes more club members take the opportunity to host students in the coming years.
