For the past several years, Littleton Rotarian volunteers have made Valentine’s Day a big deal at the Libby Bortz Assisted Living Center in Downtown Littleton. The center puts on a Valentine’s Day Dance complete with a live orchestra playing all the old standards from the Big-Band era. Since most of the residents are women, there is a shortage of men to dance with. Rotary to the rescue!
The one hour dance was a total success and the residents were so grateful to have someone to dance and talk with. How special it was to see the joy in the faces and feel the love that was expressed by everyone there.
