This year, the Rotary Club of Littleton sold 375 boxes of peaches to fund local nonprofit organizations
The Littleton Rotary Club, celebrating its 103rd year, sold 375 nine-pound boxes of peaches from Palisades this season. These sales, at $35 per box, generated around $6,000 in funds for community nonprofits such as Shiloh House, Nourish Meals on Wheels and Integrated Family Community Services.
A portion of the sales — 30 boxes — went to residents of Vita, a 55-and-older community at 2100 W. Littleton Boulevard. This was made possible by the efforts of Rotarians Richard Spong, Dale Tuggle, and Sandra Schrift, who live at Vita and advertised the peaches.
“At Vita, we acted like Amazon and brought the peaches to their doors,” Schrift said. “It greatly increased how many boxes we sold.”

In addition to peach sales, the Littleton Rotary Club also raises funds by assisting other nonprofits at events like Western Welcome Week and will be checking in floats for the Western Welcome Week Parade on Saturday, Aug.16. Littleton Rotary will also have a float in the parade and a booth.
In 2025, the Club donated $123,236 to nonprofits, supporting four key areas: helping those in poverty, feeding the hungry, youth education, and community services.
