WASH, CAMEROON AND SUSTAINABILITY

Joshua Knight, graduated from the University of Colorado with a PhD in Civil Engineering.  Joshua has over 20 years of experience in the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), environmental and sustainability engineering fields and 17 years in international development. Joshua is the Program Engineer at Global Hope Network International (ghni.org) in Denver, Colorado, overseeing water, wastewater, energy and agricultural projects in developing countries.  GHNI walks alongside communities to empower villagers to lift themselves out of poverty using local staff to provide knowledge-sharing in the areas of Water, Food, Health, Education and Income Generation.  Joshua also lectures at the Regis University on Environmental Engineering in International Development.  Joshua has been a member of the Denver Southeast Rotary Club since 2017, and is member of the Rotary District 5450 Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Committee. 

Rob McMaher joined Rotary of Denver Southeast (DSE) in June 2019 and has served as the International Services Committee (ISC) Chair beginning in July 2020. During the past two years, Rotary of Denver Southeast successfully supported over fifty Projects throughout the world. This year Rob accepted to be the Co-Chair of the District 5450 WASH Action Group. Rob is retired after traveling the world specializing in design engineering large-scale national and international voice/data communication networks. He grew up in the Denver and has an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering at Front Range College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Regis University and obtained a Master of Science Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Denver.
