NEPAL: THE VILLAGE

Rotarian Chandra Sharma was born in a small village south of Kathmandu Nepal.  He finished his MBA program from Tribhuvan University.  He came to Colorado in 1986 and finished his MS in Accounting from the University of Colorado at Denver.

He is married with 2 grown boys.  Both are gainfully employed and enjoying their lives on the East Coast.

During his life in the USA he has started several different ventures and finally after 30 years he sold all of his businesses and planned to retire.  After retiring for one year he decided to join Waddell & Reed as a Financial Advisor.

In the past he has served in different capacities with several different nonprofit organizations.

Chandra’s presentation will discuss some of the history of Nepal as well as the opportunities and challenges faced by his native country.
