THE ETHOS OF PROJECT C.U.R.E. AND CURRENT RELIEF EFFORTS IN UKRAINE

With an international background and decades of serving the underserved, Baret Walker came onboard as Executive Director of Project C.U.R.E.- Denver in 2019. As a servant leader, she advances mission, strategic partnerships, and major gifts for Project C.U.R.E. in the Mountain West.

Baret has lived, studied, and traveled extensively and brings both cultural literacy and intellectual curiosity to her work strengthening health systems in low to middle income countries around the world. Prior to working at Project C.U.R.E., Baret served as Development Director for two Colorado nonprofits- CWEE, which upskilled single parent moms, and Escuela de Guadalupe, a dual-language, Catholic school serving low-income Latino families.
