Update - October 13, 2015  We just had some cancelations and now have an opening for two additional people to sign up.  Please contact Bob Young if you have any questions.

Join your fellow Rotarians as we partner with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver for a day of home construction.  Habitat for Humanity is a homeownership program that builds and sells homes to hard-working families in need of decent and affordable housing.  Our build location this day will be 2327 W. Harvard Ave. in Englewood.  Volunteers  need to be 18 or older (16 or older with parental waiver and certain limitations) and must commit to being on site before 9:00 AM and working the entire day.  All necessary training, safety equipment, and tools will be provided.  There is an additional registration process with Habitat for Humanity that volunteers must complete.  Details will be forwarded to you once you have signed up on this page.  All registrations must be completed by October 11.  The homes we will be helping to build are both sides of a one-story duplex.  The homes will be close to their final completion on our volunteer date, so we will probably be doing a lot of those last minute tasks to transform from a construction site to homes that the new owners will be proud to live in.

We can accommodate 10 volunteers for this project.  If more than 10 sign up, they will be put on a waiting list.
