Purcell Rotary provides dictionaries to local students

Knowledge is power.  And again this year, Purcell Rotary is helping local schools by providing dictionaries to third graders.

 

A dictionary is a key ingredient to literacy.  To master language, one must have the tools to learn what words mean and how to use them.  Dictionaries are that tool.

 

This year Purcell Rotary provided 735 dictionaries to Purcell, Lexington, Wayne, Washington, Blanchard and Newcastle elementary schools.
