The 2013 Rotary Club of Chickasha Christmas Party was held on Dec. 12 in the ballroom of USAO.
The party opened with a prayer by Michael Oberlender, Pledge of the Allegiance and singing of a specially written Deck the Hall of Rotary penned by our own Mitch Williams.
Rotarians and guests dined on salad, chicken and beef  with vegetables. Cheesecake and cake was available for desserts.
After dinner, party-goers were entertained by members of the Chickasha Community Theatre who performed scenes from several of their past productions including Fiddler on the Roof, Wizard of Oz, The Christmas Shows, Nunsense and the Boardwalk Melody Hour Murders.
The latter featured a performance by President Greg and Rotarian Matt Mettry.
The entertainment ended with the CCT cast members singing "Thank You Very Much."
That's because CCT will be getting a check for more than $5,000, as will the Southwest Youth & Family Services Angel Project, from proceeds of this year's raffle to give away a John Deere Gator 550. The club cleared more than $10,000 from ticket sales.
The winning ticket drawn was bought by Kevin Shebester.
A good time was had by all.
