Captain Kelly

President Kelly, our new Captain of the Good Ship Nechako, provided a revealing and detailed Financial estimate of this years Budget projections, as part of our internal Club Day program.

The Budget projections indicate a number of facts that we as a Rotary Club must be pro-active about:

1)  Club membership is a priority as membership and the related dues has declined during the past few years while our level of Club spending has remained fairly constant.

2) The Club needs to pursue additional programs and activities to raise funds for our projects as our current projects including ORN and Gaming are very restricted in how we can spend the money we raise.

3)  The Club needs to be more pro-active about weekly expenses incurred and ensure we remain creative in charging those costs where appropriate.
