Where's Waldo

"Waldo" shows much of the same character as his owner, thinking himself to be young and wanting to always be in the "Limelight".

During the "Striking Gold" District 5040 Conference in Quesnel this past weekend, "Waldo" was seen hanging out with the District 5040 Exchange Students, while they prepared for their traditional "Flag Ceremony". 

Its a wonder that "Waldo" didn't march in the ceremony, carrying the BC Flag.  I'm sure that if his owner had known, he would have arranged for a special "Prince George" flag, just for the occasion.

It does appear that "Waldo" is progressing home to Prince George anyway, so hopefully we will see a reunion with his owner, whom everyone heard this morning, is missing his coveted mug dearly.

Almost brings tears to the eyes, doesn't it.
