Waldo Come Home

Some diligent Rotarians have been keeping a watchful eye out for "Waldo" the "Travel Mug" and we all know "Waldo" has been doing a bit of a "Walk About" in BC during the last few weeks,

The last sighting of "Waldo" was while he was hamming it up with Celebrities in Quesnel, during the "Striking Gold" Rotary District 5040 Conference.

Well, it appears "Waldo's" timing is just a little off.  A "Dollar Short and a Day Late", is the old saying.

Lloyd and Adene Clay, loving owners of the coveted Travel Mug, appear to have left for the Vancouver, Victoria area this morning, possibly in hopes of finding "Waldo" and bringing him home.

Alas, "Waldo" was seen on the front steps of the Clay residence on Limestone Crescent, this morning, and nobody home to let the poor wayward Travel Mug in.

Well, "Waldo" was heard muttering about the fact that if Lloyd didn't care to wait for him, he would just head for the Pine Centre Mall and hang-out with all the other Mugs.

He might even sell a few raffle tickets for the Nechako Rotary Club while he is there.
