Tanner Moulton and Sydney Redpath, co-captains of UNBC's JDC West Team for 2017-18 joined us for breakfast where they discussed their success over the last few years.
The team is made up of a dedicated group of UNBC business and commerce students who annually compete against 10 other business schools in Western Canada.
They compete in 10 different academic disciplines (entrepreneurship, international business, not for profit) where teams of three have three hours to solve a business case and do a presentation without any outside resources.
There is also a debate, social and an athletics team.
The team is gearing up to compete at the University of Calgary in January 2018 and have a fundraising goal for charity of $150,000. Last year they raised $87,000 and in 2016 they raised $127,000. We wish them all the best!
