Shelter Box

Rotarian and Shelter Box Ambassador Gary Gurnsey provided a short update on the successful involvement and and achievements of Shelter Box during this year. In 2010 Shelter Box has responded to disasters all over the world including Sumatra, Fiji, Uganda, Chile, Peru, Egypt and Kenya. ShelterBox Canada has contributed over 5,000 Shelter Boxes out of the total 70,500 boxes deployed during this Rotary year. The Nechako Rotary Club was presented with a plaque acknowledging our involvement in the Shelterbox Canada Program. Thank you to everyone for your participation.
