Marilyn Juds, Founder & Research Coordinator for the Safe Water Coalition in Prince George, and Joanne Shilling, Secretary, provided an interesting and detailed presentation on the use of Fluoride in the Prince George water supply. Marilyn's presentation provided information dating into the 1950's regarding the use of fluorides including a number of quotations by Doctors and Scientists suggesting that fluorides have negative effects on people and should not be introduced into water systems. Many countries have either stopped or banned the use of fluorides in their water supplies. Marilyn's presentation on behalf of the Safe Water Coalition is all about the potential risks to humans and that the people in Prince George should have a say in the decisions that effect them on safety and health issues. Marilyn and Joanne were thanked by Rotarian Bill Bateman, with a donation to Shelter Box Canada.
