Rotary Youth Exchange

Nechako Rotary Club's current Exchange Student Elyse Donck provided a detailed report this morning regarding her past weeks activities, during the "Striking Gold" District 5040 Conference, as well as some strong feelings about the fact that her exchange is rapidly coming to an end.

All students in District 5040 attended the District Conference in Quesnel, giving them a chance to spend lots of time together, but also making them aware of the fact they will soon be departing for their homes and leaving great friends behind, at least in the short term.

Elyse has enjoyed her exchange very much and was feeling a little low this morning because of the recognition that the year is coming to a close.

Elyse is always very fun loving and exuberant and she always bounces back quickly.  She was also quick to show off her "Belgium" sweat shirt as part of her update.

Not to despair Elyse, you still have some time and lots of opportunity to experience more during those next few weeks.
