Nechako Rotary Club's newest Exchange Student from Germany, Maike Adams, has been in Canada a total of two weeks and already she has taken the podium to update the club on her experiences during this past two weeks.

Maike barely got off the plane from her 20 hour travel from Germany to Prince George, when she was met at the plane and whisked away to participate in the Tweedsmuir Trek along with all the other new inbound students.

The Tweedsmuir Trek was another resounding success with action packed activities for all the participants.  Maike showed some slides of her trip along with her new exchange friends.

When Maike returned from Tweedsmuir, she was taken for a visit to the Ancient Forest with Rotarian Diane Nakamura, where she became aware of some of the oldest forest in BC and only an hours drive from Prince George.

Maike, Diane and Gail MacLaren have been busy getting settled into this years exchange program and have already prepared a sizable list of "Things to Do with Maike during her exchange."

Please take the opportunity to get to know Maike and help ensure she has the action packed exchange we are capable of providing here in Prince George.

Thank you Maike for getting involved.  We look forward to regular updates on your adventures.
