Rotary Hospice House

Donalda Carson is no stranger to the Nechako Rotary Club as we have had a long history of working with Donalda over the years helping to raise funds for this great facility in Prince George.

Donalda provided the Nechako Rotary Club with an update of the Hospice House with examples of the services provided at the Hospice house as well as some of the Thoughts and Themes used in the administration of the house.

Both administrative and medical staff become extremely committed to the services provided in Hospice and become attached to the residences of the Hospice House during their relatively short stay during their final journey.  Hospice assists in making that short stay as enjoyable as possible with the inclusion of family and friends day and night, if required.  Family members can stay, eat and visit, 24-7 during those final hours and days.

Rotarian and PDG Ron Neukomm thanked Donalda for her presentation with another donation to our Polio Plus Program.
