The 2009 Rotary Foundation Dinner was a complete success on Saturday, November 21st, at the Prince George Kinsmen's Centre. Approximately 100 Rotarians and spouses were in attendance to hear about Polio by Joan Toone. Chris Offer, District 5040 Director of the Foundation provided some additional background on what is happening in The Rotary Foundation program. Rotarians were treated to some very good entertainment, fellowship and excellant food. Rotarians were also generous in their contributions to the Foundation through purchases at the Bar, the Live Auction and the Silent Auction. If you were not there, you missed a good event and might feel obligued to pay a "Sad Dollar".
