Rotary Adventures in Tourism

The Nechako Rotary Club, with the assistance of PDG Ron Neukomm, has supported the Rotary Adventures In Tourism program again in Kelowna this year.
Ron took our student, Maddison Dunn to the event in Kelowna for the weekend, and drove her home again.
Maddison provided the Nechako Rotary Club with a short presentation about her experiences during the trip. These young people get some real exposure to different aspects of tourism, including some hands on experience with some of the tourist venues and sports activities, such as golf.
As always, these events give young people the opportunity to see and experience possible future career opportunities, as well as the very valuable interaction with other young people, helping to mold their character for their future.
