Prince George Top Ten Plan

Fellow Rotarian and Prince George City Mayor Dan Rogers provided the Nechako Club with a great presentation regarding the City's activities and budgets today as well as a look into the future, or long term. Mayor Roger's identified with a couple of the significant City objects; one being a Clean Air Policy; the second having the City be known as a Knowledge Based Resource Economy. Mayor Roger's identified the Top Ten current achievements he sees for the community, in declining order: 10) Top Cop position 9) SGOG Plan (A revitalized on the ground plan for the downtown core) 8) Alward Park Cancer Society Lodge 7) My PG 6) National Quality Institute 5) World Baseball Challenge 4) Road to the Roar 3) Olympic Torch Event 2) Boundary Road Project 1) City Road Rehabilitation Program. (largest budget ever for city road rehabilitation, increases to 3.4 Million dollars this year) Rotarian Harold Spensley thanked Mayor Dan Rogers with another donation to our Shelter Box Canada Project.
