Prince George Railway & Forestry Museum Accessibility
Posted by Kenneth Pendergast
Members of the Nechako Rotary Club were invited to attend and participate in the "Ribbon Cutting" Ceremony at the Prince George Railway & Forestry Museum on Monday, Oct. 25th to recognize the donations provided to the Museum for the construction of the "Accessibility Ramp" allowing greater access of this great facility to people restricted to wheel chair access. A large donation was received from the Federal Government in addition to funding provided from Rotary. Approximately 20 people were present for the ribbon cutting including Prince City Mayor Dan Rogers and representatives from our Federal Government. The Railway & Forestry Museum continues to be a focal point in our community, drawing visitors locally as well as tourists visiting and traveling through our community.
