My PG

Mark Fercho, from My PG and Mike Davis, Manager of Communications & Citizen Engagement attending the Nechako Rotary Club to present the latest City initiative on Integrated Community Sustainability Planning for Prince George. The Plan is called My PG. This plan has been in the development stage for the past year, involving Community Partners, the Mayor and Council, and members of the Public. The plan process includes a short questionnaire allowing members of the public to provide input and feedback. The plan is designed to drive the community's future plans, goals, decisions and budget. This is the first time the City has evolved from Annual Plans to the concept of Incremental Planning. Mark indicated the process follows other similar processes in place in communities and provincial governments. The process is well worth the time and effort required to ensure all levels of the community is provided an opportunity to input into our City's long term planning. Mark was thanked by Rotarian Bob Guy with a donation to the Shelter Box Canada Program.
