Montreal RI Convention

Rotarians Kelly Zammit, Ken Pendergast and William Osei provided a detailed presentation on the resent RI Convention in Montreal, with pictures of the entire program and some background documentary regarding the main features and the plenary sessions. The Convention had 18,500 delegates from all over the world and another 4 to 5 thousand visitors as spouses and friends of Rotarians in Montreal. Conventions are a great way to get to know more about Rotary and the great things that Rotary does in the world to promote Peace, Fellowship, Goodwill and Service. The main Services programs continue to be eradication of Polio throughout the World. Next years Convention is being hosted in New Orleans and promises to be a great program. 2010-2011 Ri President Ray Klinginsmith provided his mandate for the year with "Cowboy Logic" where Rotarians are asked to continue to promote Rotary to make it "Bigger, Better and Bolder."
