Hart Skate Board Park

Doctor Steven Chang's Young son, Dakota, heard that Rotary is planning to help fund a Skate Board Park in the Hart.  Young Dakota is a firm believer in the idea of the Skate Board Park on the Hart and immediately decided to help with Fund Raising.

Dakota went on a door to door campaign of the neighbors in his home area, soliciting donations for the construction of the Skate Board Park.

Doctor Chang is very supportive of his son's efforts and arranged for Dakota to come to the regular morning breakfast meeting of the Nechako Rotary Club to present the money he raised for the project.

Dakota was successful in raising the initial $287.00 from his "Door to Door Campaign" getting donations for the Skate Park.

Father Doctor Chang and son Dakota presented the donation to Fund Raiding Chair Ken Pendergast.

Hopefully, this is a good indication of the kind of support we can expect from our community while looking for funding and construction capacity to plan and complete the project.
