Farewell Elyse

Our Rotary exchange student Elyse Donck returned from her three-week Rotary BC tour July 21 and immediately joined Nechako Rotarians for our annual country picnic that day. Thanks, as always, for the wonderful hospitality by hosts Garry and Lynnette Howse for having us at their island in the middle of Summit Lake. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed an afternoon of fellowship like no other. The loons sang and the bald eagles soared above. Elyse also met Jill Budac (pictured in the paddle boat), our 2012-13 outbound exchange student from Prince George who spent the last year, coincidentally, in Belgium.

Elyse returned home to Belgium July 24. Stay tuned for pictures from the airport.
