Chris Olivier has just returned during the past couple weeks from his Exchange to Sweden.  Chris provided a presentation to the Club of the highlights of his year with some slides of the experience.

In Chris's words, the Exchange was the greatest thing that has happened in his life.  He said the first few weeks were great but difficult while people treated him with some trepidation until they and he felt comfortable in his new environment.  Then the Exchange just got better during the entire year.

Chris never really got homesick during the year.  Getting close to the end of his exchange, he was starting to look forward to coming home to family and friends, but also regretting the end of his stay with new friends and host parents.

Chris and all the other Exchange Students in the area were treated to an extensive tour around western Europe to wrap up the Exchange Program for the year.  Again, Chris indicated this was a wonderful experience that he will never forget.

Rotarian Bob Quinlan thanked Chis for his presentation with a Donation to our Polio Plus Program.
