Charter Member to Honorary Member

Charter Member Don Grantham has been a Rotarian for over 30 years, having been a Rotarian in Vanderhoof prior to returning to work in Prince George. When Don returned to Prince George he tried to transfer his Rotary Membership from Vanderhoof to Prince George, but under the old classification system, there were to many Rotarians already holding that classification. Don was asked to help form the new Nechako Rotary Club as one of the Charter Members. Don has functioned in all the Avenues of Service during his years in Rotary and served as President of the Nechako Rotary Club. Don and Joyce spend 6 months each summer at their lake home, and travel to other places such as Hawaii and time with family members, making it difficult to maintain regular attendance. The Nechako Rotary Club have opted to make Don an Honorary Member of the Club, where he can stay involved with Rotary when he is home and remain connected with all their Rotary friends.
