Adventures in Forestry

Yellowhead Rotarian Jay Lazzarin, Chair of the 2010 Adventures In Forestry Program provided the Nechako Rotary Club with an update of this important youth program for Prince George. Adventures in Forestry has been an annual event since 1991 with both the Downtown Club and the Nechako Club assisting the Yellowhead Club in seeking suitable candidates for this program as well as sharing in the initial cost of the program. The cost to each club is $350 dollars. The Adventures in Forestry Program also offers a $1000.00 Bursary to students that are attending a course in Forestry or Environmental Studies. Rotarian Bill Bateman thanked Jay for his presentation with a donation to our Shelterbox Canada Program.
