2013 Operation Red Nose Prince George

It is now official, the 2013 Operation Red Nose Program in Prince George, hosted by the Nechako Rotary Club celebrated the official "Kick-off" this morning at 10;30 AM at the ICBC Claims Centre with the campaign Motto "Come Party With Us."

This is the 30th year of Operation Red Nose since it was developed in Quebec, and the 15th year of operation in Prince George, where it commenced in 1997 with UNBC.

The Nechako Rotary Club became the host commencing in 2001 when UNBC could no longer muster sufficient volunteers to raise funds for their Timber Wolves teams.

Last year, 2012 Campaign provided a total of 1084 Safe Rides with a total of 622 volunteer nights and 26,150 kilometres driven.

Volunteers are still signing up for this years program and sponsorships continue to roll in from companies and Responsible Licensed Establishments in the Prince George community, to help make this years program even bigger and better.
