Bill led us in the pledge of allegiance.  Karen took us through America the Beautiful.  Lois led us in prayer.

 

In honor of our guests from India, participating in the Group Study Exchange Program (GSE), the meeting was held at Masala Art.

 

 

Announcements:

·        Crutches for Africa-  clean out your closet, basement, attic and give away your crutches, walkers, canes, wheel chairs to be loaded into a shipping container to help folks in Africa- See Karen

·        Reality Fair is May 21 at Needham High School.

Dr. Eric Roseen, Vijay Joshua (visiting Rotarian from Norwood), Frank Bond, Deb Kasan, and GSE host and former Rotarian Bill Zoppo

 Guest Speakers: Ananda Kulkarni, Lalit Jain spoke to the group about India, talking about the demographics, economics and competitive landscape of India.

 

The meeting was a great way to learn about another culture and how Rotary is truly global.
