Thanks to a grant from Target and the efforts of our Club Advisor to Boston University Rotaract, Karen Jacobs, Boston University Rotaract members have started a "Healthy Eating" program with Women and Girls Thriving in Brookline.  Students and Women and Girls members gathered to learn some new healthy, low cost recipes last week, to have some fun and eat a delicious dinner.  The cooking classes were one of the areas of focus that the Women and Girls organization had asked for and is an extension of the grant Brookline Rotary gave them this past year to help create a vegetable garden along side the Brookline Community Foundation offices.  The garden is again planned for this summer and more cooking classes are on the calendar.
