Global Scholar Mirwais Wakil: MSc International Studies, LSE

I met up with our Scholar Mirwais earlier today. Herewith a brief synopsis of him:
Mirwais is 26 year old of Afghan origin, an Austrian citizen sponsored by Milwaukee and Wisconsin Rotary Club, District 5960 for MSC in International Studies at LSE, London..png)
He has an interesting background having escaped Taliban, reunited with his mom in Vienna, Austria. Following graduation in Europe, briefly running a business and then he went for further studies to US. Apparently he is only scholar from his area and looking forward to his year in London.
I found him a very humble, pleasant gentleman and look forward to being a mentor to him while he is here.
He is going to the District Conference in two weeks time and I wonder if any one going from London area can give him a lift. Regrettably, I am not going to the Conference.

We also need to schedule him as a speaker at one of the Thursday meeting.
