Sleep in Heavenly Peace Build a Bed Project

This project works in conjunction with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) non-profit organization to provide bunk beds designed for children and youth primarily housed in foster homes or children living with relatives that do not have adequate places to sleep. Volunteers can fund materials through SHP at a cost of $250 per bed. This includes wood, hardware, paint, storage, delivery and bedding. Build a Bed events are held to build the beds. Delivery Events are held to deliver and install the bed in homes where needed. Many referrals come from CPS and Child counselors throughout the county.

The Rotary Club of Waxahachie is funding 44 beds . Seeking volunteers and additional funding.
