Ramp complete!

Wow when you think it can’t get any better it does. Approximately 24’ of wheel chair ramp was built on Duvall in Killeen on Aug. 27. We had a GREAT TURN OUT! Over 30 folks gave up their Saturday morning to help someone they didn’t even know. Not only was a ramp built but we had a very special surprise as General (Ret) Pete Taylor pinned a Vietnam recognition pin on a well-deserved Vietnam Veteran. 

 

Now if that does not make the hair on your hairs go up I don’t know what will! As I was looking through the many photos taken during the build and two things stood out: one everyone had a smile on their face and we had a very wide range of ages on this project from the very young to the very mature! This proves there is something for everyone to contribute as once again we had Unity in The Community .
