Tom DeWitt receives the Rotary International "Citation for Meritorious Service"

South Tyler Rotary Club members and over 106 guests filled Disciples Hall at First Christian Church to honor selected men and women who serve the Club and the Tyler community in a manner Rotary International calls “service above self”. This year’s award winners were:

Callynth Finney – South Tyler Rotary Service Above Self Award

Jarad Kent – Newcomer of the Year
Dalton Dickerson – Rotarian of the Year
Tom DeWitt – Rotary International Citation for Meritorious Service
2020-2021 President Diane Kavanaugh wrapped up her year as President. Diane highlighted South Tyler Rotary’s successes for the year, including donating over $26,000 to local nonprofit organizations, disaster relief and an international project. South Tyler Rotary members completed over 1000 hours of volunteer to service to 20 plus service projects.
Past District 5830 Governor Judy Guthrie installed Beth Blaisdell as the 2021-2022 South Tyler Rotary Club President. President Beth will lead South Tyler Rotary members to “Serve to Change Lives” (the Rotary International Theme for 2021-2022).
