Christmas Performance

Kathleen Alvizo is a retired Texas Music Educator. Kathy and her husband Al moved to the Tyler area from Harlingen, where Kathy served as a high school choral director. While there, Kathy’s choirs consistently won Sweepstakes Awards at UIL competitions. She also had many of her students earn chairs in the Region and State choirs. Kathy is a former member of Texas Music Adjudicator Association, judging vocal and piano soloists, as well as choirs across the state. Kathy served as Regional Coordinator, Clinician, and Accompanist for many soloists and choirs throughout her career. Kathy is currently enjoying her retirement, while serving as organist at Noonday Methodist Church.
