Oncor Area Manager- Infrastructure and local procedures to maintain power

Tom Trimble is the Area Manager in the Jacksonville and Athens Areas for Oncor Electric Delivery. Tom has been with Oncor for almost nine years. Tom received his bachelors and masters degrees from Texas A&M University. His degree was in Environmental Sciences. This led Tom to a career in environmental consulting for 12 years. During those years Tom worked on large industrial projects such as highways, railroads, coal mines, transmission lines, commercial and residential developments, landfills, etc… It was the work on the Transmission Line projects that brought him to Oncor. At Oncor Tom works in a relationship role, building relationship within the communities Oncor serves and within Oncor itself. Today Tom is visiting with us about Oncor’s role in the community. This includes outage issues, staying safe around electricity, understanding the effort it takes to restore power, assisting in infrastructure, planning for growth, and answering your questions.
