Kim Morris, ETFB Chief Impact Officer, discusses ETFB's operations, finances and how they meet the food insecurity challenges in the 26 Counties they manage.
Any one can get involved with ETFB in various methods: donating time, money and possibly food (at ETFB HQ in Tyler).
Donating time could be performed at various Community Produce Distributions around E. Tx: these are typically held 1 day per month for several hours.
Key duties: packing bulk food into family servings, distribution of the packed produce to families and then some ‘light’ clean up once distribution has ended.
ETFB has also 4 Resource Centers that can use help packing various dry goods either into cellophane bags (rice, beans) or creating senior boxes that will be distributed to Affiliate Members that hold and distribute the boxes to their registered families.
