The Rotary Club of Lindale was chartered in the mid forties by a small group of Lindale business men, and has existed for over 60 years with a rich heritage of supporting the Lindale community with a numerous list of distinguished accomplishments.

Lindale Rotary has sponsored the Boy Scout Troop 351 for that 60 year period of time.

Lindale Rotary awards $500 scholarships annually to deserving Lindale High School graduates to attend Tyler Junior College.

Lindale Rotary was primarily responsible for the construction of the Community Center Building in Pool Park and paved the parking lots that exist at the building.  Rotary was also instrumental in placing the playground equipment that now exists at Pool Park.

Lindale Rotary sends two deserving students each year to the District Rotary Youth Leadership Award camp at Camp Pirtle.

Lindale Rotary donated $15,000.00 to the city when Faulkner Park was built.

The Lindale Library has been generously supported by the Lindale Rotary Club each year since it organized.

Lindale Rotary supports the Lindale Christmas Helpers in their endeavor to make sure all of the children of Lindale have Christmas presents.

Lindale Rotary supports various other community projects as needed.  The primary fund raisers for these special projects are the annual Pancake Breakfast (first Saturday in May), the annual Homecoming Hamburger Supper (football homecoming), and the ongoing flag project that projects the city of Lindale's patriotic pride on six holidays annually by flying beautiful American flags.
