Pass the Gavel July 2Cooperstown Rotary Club enjoyed the annual Pass the Gavel Dinner July 2nd at the Origins Cafe. Members enjoyed a wonderful meal and hot evening punctuated by a thunderstorm. Good time was had by all and we recognized the Teacher of the Year, Brian Murphy. We also awarded the Chris Worrell Award to Judge John Lambert. Rotarian of the year was Karen Shafer.

Rotary Grant to Food PantryThe Rotary Club of Cooperstown donated $4000 to the Cooperstown Food Pantry to help fund the Cancer Nutrition Program at Bassett Hospital. $2000 was raised by the Club to match a $2000 grant from CNY Rotary.

Pancake DayA great thank you to the Cooperstown Community for supporting our 67th Pancake Day. We served over 350 people and had great participation by our Club members. Special thanks to chair Ben Novellano.
