Youth Exchange

The Youth Exchange Program Committee organizes our Club efforts to send Cooperstown Central School students abroad for a year (outbounds) and to welcome international students (inbounds) into our community. There are many roles that make this program of cultural exchange work. Chair: Responsible for overseeing the total program. Outbound Coordinator: Responsible for recruiting new students, planning and conducting the interview process in the fall, and maintaining contact with outbounds during their year abroad. Inbound Coordinator: Responsible for all aspects of the inbound students’ program from the time their applications arrive until they leave at the end of their exchange. Counselors: Responsible to work directly with an individual inbound student throughout the year to help ensure the student has a successful experience.
