The Montachusett Area Rotary Club held it's second Million Dollar Meal Thursday (8/19/10) at the home of Rotarian Jack Dube. The concept of the Million $ Meal is that a club holds their meeting in a place other than the regular venue and the money normally paid is allocated to the RI Polio Eradiation effort. This was a very successful event with an attendance of 27 people.

This Million$ Meal was a "Pot Luck" dinner with each Rotarian bringing an appetizer, salad, entrée or dessert. Although there was a large selection of appetizers, salads, shrimp & desserts the big hit was the burgers & hot dogs (either grilled or deep fried).

Each attendee paid the regular breakfast meeting cost of $12.00. When the money was totaled we had over $500.  Thanks goes out to all who participated and especially to Tom Tara and Jack Dube for planning this event.
