We had a BOD meeting right after our regular morning meeting. We are still matching the max of $10 pp, per week for Foundation until we reach the amount of $500. For example, you donate $10 then it will be matched and you will be then be credited $20 towards Foundation. He read an email from Jim Hohman on Foundation and here are the top contenders for now (there is still time for us to move up…especially after our fried dough event) : 1st place right now is Wachusett Rotary - $368 pp, 2nd place is Fitchburg Rotary - $296 pp and 3rd place is Monty Broc - $291 pp. We got this Monty Broc!!!

Rick had food $’s and it will be fun this Saturday @ Sholan Farms…and happy $ for he and Shari celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary!
Ali had food and foundation $’s and celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary!
Craig had food $’s, had long weekend in Vegas with great weather…left some $ there and will be at the fried dough event!
Joan had food $’s, a brag $ as they say in the south for her granddaughter who plays lacrosse and tried the goalie position and did very well! She let 1 goal get by her which is very hard…as the ratio is 35%.
Maila had food and foundation $’s and had an announcement $ as she is selling $10 raffle tickets, 31 chances to win cash prizes for the month of July….thanks to those that bought some this morning!
Gina had a happy $ for on June 1st Pastaland will be re-opening!
Jay had foundation $’s…
Eric had foundation $’s and showed us a pic of the most western part of Europe, Cabo da Roca where a Rotary foundation moment stood.
Jim F. had foundation $’s, sad $ b’c he is going to miss fried dough event on Saturday as he really likes doing this!
President John had foundation $’s!
Deb had a late $ bc she forgot her cell phone at home and went back to get it…
Michelle redeemed herself with a sugar packet, had foundation $’s, going to Rhode Island today and is having fun building their house on the lake.
Leslie is looking forward to Saturday and no prom pics at Sholan Farms this year due to the festival over the weekend! Passed out invitations for the installation in June…
Jeanie had food $’s and it’s spring…..so nice!
 
President John pulled ticket #837 and Gina Wilson was the lucky winner who pulled a “six” for $6.00…Congrats!  She put her $6 towards Foundation. There were 2 other trick and treat raffles this morning. Christina had ticket #843 and chose the beautiful wrapped silver box which were a box full of rubber ducky ‘s and Jim F. had ticket #835 and received a Derek Sanderson’s book with $20 inside!

  • 5/16 – Sholan Farms event…will be selling French fries, chili, soda, water and of course our famous “fried dough.” Sign-up sheet going around
  • 5/18/15 – Clean-up @ Cormier Park 1:00
  • 6/19/15 – Great Wolf Lodge, Fitchburg – Jim F. and Leslie’s installation, 5:30-6:30 cocktails, dinner and program 6:30, $35 pp. There will be a make-up table that Thursday before on 6/18. Online registration will be available next week…more to come!
  • 10/2/15 – Ficarra/Scapparone Golf Tournament @ Westminster Country Club
