Gina had happy $ to be back, bought house in Leominster, word of the day is RECONNOITER – to inspect, observe in order to gain info for military purposes! Check out www.pastaland.net to see the menu and soon to come online ordering!!
Ali had food and foundation $’s, had a happy/sad $ for her sister who was due on Monday and getting very antsy….
Lynn had foundation $’s, 3 years and 2 months to retire, had a wonderful trip, glad to be back to eat food she can identify and told story of head of deer that was in her yard!
President Leslie had food $’s, glad that Gina is back, had a great B-day, won’t be here next week so PE Jen will run meeting!
Maila had food $’s and don’t forget to spring ahead this weekend….and do you know who invented spring ahead/fall back? John S. educated it was Ben Franklin!
Ellen had food and foundation $’s and glad Gina is back…she was missed!
Jeannie had food $’s and glad her daughter and Deb told her about volunteering at the Leominster gift shop…that’s where she will be on Tuesday afternoons!
Joanne had foundation $’s, late$, here$, Gina is here $ and happy to be here$!

DG Jim had food and foundation $’s, had stretch $ to have Gina back, hello Joanne and will be at PET’s too!
Jim H. had food and foundation $’s and gave a Rotary moment!
Rick had foundation $’s, during his year our club won Club of the Year, went to England for Rotary International and he will bring in slide show of 2010 and told story of how he almost cut Jeannie off but didn’t and glad he doesn’t live in Leominster b’c it’s gridlock on all streets during rush hour and commented Barre Savings Bank will be merging with Fidelity!
 
Gina pulled ticket #952 and Rick Vallee was the lucky winner who pulled an “Ace” for $1.00…Congrats!! The “Joker” is still in the last few cards….
 
Keep in mind:
  • Don’t forget you can do e-make-ups – http://rotaryeclubone.org/. You MUST report make-ups to President Leslie to get credit.
  • We need to focus on membership with a more diversity of classifications in our club.
  • Need speakers for the upcoming months!!! We didn’t have one this morning….
  • Lynn was looking for volunteers to help with interviewing 10 RYLA students next week at Monty Tech…please let her know and she will let you know date and time!
  • President Leslie gave us a project to all of us to complete within the next 2 weeks. Jen and her need our honest input as to how we are doing as a club or ideas for improvement on the following categories: Membership, Projects/Grants, Speakers and Club Improvements. You can google other clubs to get ideas and then we will share when we receive all responses with the club along with our Visioning we did a couple of years back.

  • 3/29/16 – Paul Harris dinner with the Fitchburg club  at the Old Mill, an evening event
  • 4/29/16 – TTMOTTBG @ the Arc, more info to come…for the month of February we need collection for kitchen items, March-Barbecue items and April-Gardening. Please bring in items so we can have 3 baskets for this event! Looking for sponsors and name mailing list to invite people.
  • 5/14/16 – Apple Blossom Festival @ Sholan Farms BUT we are not doing fried dough this year due to the District Conference the following weekend. We will have an information booth that day up there.
  • May 20th, 21st and 22nd 2016– District Conference, Plymouth Ma. We will be hosting a hospitality “sweet” the theme this year is “Plymouth Rocks!” Register…….now!!
  • Cormier Park – spring cleanup soon…
  • Paint Nite – schedule a May date
  • 6/23/16 – Installation of Jennifer Peck as President for 2016-17; more info to come!
  • June  - sponsoring 2 RYLA students this year and it will be held at FSU; more info to come!
