DICTIONARIES PRESENTED TO LEOMINSTER 3D GRADES

On November 9, the Rotary Club of Montachusett Area (Monty Broc) visited the 3d grade students at Northwest Elementary School in Leominster.  There are 4 public elementary schools in Leominster so when the Dictionary Project is completed we will have also visited Southeast, Johnny Appleseed and Fallbrook Elementary Schools and over 500 Dictionaries will have been presented. The photo below was taken at Northwest Elementary School.  Principal Steve Mammone was our guide as we visited the five 3d grade classrooms to present the dictionaries. Literacy Chair Joan Ficarra coordinated the visit and was accompanied by Club President Jim Fusco and Rotarian Maila Berry.
