PE Leslie lit up Rotary this morning in the absence of President John Sbrogna, informed us that we are still matching the max of $10 pp, per week for Foundation until we reach the amount of $500. For example, you donate $10 then it will be matched and you will be then be credited $20 towards Foundation.

Christina had food $’s, thank you for B-day wishes and happy B-day to me!
Deb had food $’s, and for the 1st all is good…no one in nursing home or sick!
Jeanie happy $ to be back (whatever how long it has been) and hopefully get out of this boot today when she goes to the doctors and had food $’s.
Ali had food $’s, missed a couple of weeks, commented on unfortunate incident at the Doubletree and how the Sentinel published it along with vanilla yogurt pop crackers..?
Jim F. had a happy $ for his son-n-law who will be working at Commonwealth Bank will be both buying house in Chappaqu, NY which is a ½ mile from the Clintons!
Craig had his last $1 on him…..so we asked him to lead us in the 4-way test – thanks for the moment!

Rick had food $’s, great time at wine event and hung out with Gina and John and learned new phrases!

Claire Freda had a food $’s, thanked those that came to the wine event, sorry she missed Arc event as her grandson was making confirmation down at the Cape.
Lynn had Foundation $’s, $ for not being late and commented on reunion at City Hall as she had a great time…and the memories!
Gina had a happy $ for Lynn as she has a new job at LifeCare and is very happy – no more 11-7!
Cheryl R. had food $’s, glad to be sitting at the ladies table chatting  and told true story  on whether or not you believe in superstition she had with her Dad last week as it was 10 year anniversary of his passing.
Nick had food/foundation $’s and hot tub is hooked up home!
Leslie had food $’s, thank you Claire for being here and thanked everyone for being here despite school vacation and a beautiful day!
 
Claire Freda pulled ticket #788 and Craig Reynolds was the lucky winner who pulled a “two” for $2.00…Congrats!  She put $5 towards Foundation.

  • 5/16 – Sholan Farms event…will be selling French fries, chili, soda, water and of course our famous “fried dough.” Sign-up sheet going around
  • 6/19/15 – Great Wolf Lodge – Jim F. and Leslie’s installation, 5:30, bring spouse/friend. There will be a make-up table that Thursday before on 6/18; sign-up sheet going around
 
Leslie Storrs introduced Claire Freda of the Leominster Rotary Club and City Councilor of Leominster of the past 22 years. She commented that she looked at our club bulletin and it was a year ago she came and spoke to us and here she is the same very day…April 23rd. Claire has been involved with local government for 28 years and was the 1st female as City Councilor. She spoke about her earlier days on the school committee and loved doing that for 6 years then came onboard as the City Councilor. There are a lot issues that the city deals with but that is good for a strong and healthy community. She spoke about the budget, how that works, free cash from the budgets, taxes, district spending, MS4, OPFA, GASPY and the philosophy in the community and how well you serve. Claire loves speaking about the city so she could have gone on longer. Thank you Claire for the insight you provided to us. Q&A followed.
