We have a very active Literacy Committee!  Currently we are collecting children books for the Allencrest Learning Center in Leominster. 

We will be distributing dictionaries to all 3rd graders in the Leominster School System in October.

  Literacy fair -Project Apples in November @ Leominster City Hall  5-7 PM 

Literacy fair - South Street School Fitchburg - Purchase Books a November event.

  Allencrest Learning Center - Summer & School year programs - based on "Everybody wins" -volunteer(s) go to program to listen to students read and/or to read to students; - there is need for math tutors.

Our club will celebrate "International Literacy Day the week of Sept 8th w/Speakers

  Laws of Life Essay Contest available to High School Students  - April  and May 2011. Scholarships are awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th winners.

Memorial Donations can be made to the Montachusett Area Rotary Club for Literacy Programs.
